This project explores how newly founded brands can create authenticity without relying on an established brand history. At its core lies the thesis that authenticity arises less from historical continuity and more from the deliberate use of cultural codes, nostalgic references, and consistent design strategies.


As Rockavasion does not possess its own brand heritage, it draws on collective memories of the 2000s: a formative era for an entire generation. Nostalgia functions as the central emotional trigger: familiarity and authenticity do not stem from the brand’s own past, but from the shared memory culture of its audience. Rockavasion positions itself as a curated brand world that reinterprets the spirit of the early digital era.
